Accepted into Catherine Edelman Gallery's "The Chicago Project"

For the past three years, the submission guidelines for Catherine Edelman Gallery’s “The Chicago Project” have been pinned on my wall. “The Chicago Project” is an online gallery dedicated to Chicago-area photographers with the goal of exposing their work to a wider audience. This past January I finally felt ready to submit my portfolio, and I could not be more thrilled to announce that I have been invited to participate. I’ve always wanted to try hand-tinting photographs and finally got my chance this past summer at @santafeworkshops where the outrageously talented @katebreaky was teaching her class. Had a blast trying a completely new technique while learning from a master.

Another collage I created with @hollyrobertsstudio during her @santafeworkshops. Experimenting with paint and photography simultaneously opened my mind to so many new possibilities for my work!
